I received my doctorate from Texas Christian University with a specialization in Renaissance literature and a Certificate in Women’s Studies. I received my M.A. in English Composition with a Concentration in Literature at California State University. Prior to 51�Թ�, I taught at the University of Wisconsin Colleges, Texas Christian University, California State University, a Christian middle- and high school in California, and Upward Bound. I published articles on Edmund Spenser, Mary Wroth, and William Shakespeare. My latest academic passion is reading the works of outspoken Christian women in the Protestant Reformation. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband of almost 25 years and my two sons, Christian and Corbin.

Favorite Course to Teach: Women’s literature because students often do not realize until they take this course how influential women were in the service of Christianity.
