My Network
I serve on the board for Junior Achievement of Greater South Carolina. This organizations matches community volunteers with local schools to teach work-place readiness and financial literacy to students in grades K 12. This organization represents an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience for anyone interested in helping develop our future workforce. Additionally, Im involved with the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce. Anyone interested in getting more involved in the Greer community should consider participating in the Chambers leadership program.

My Story
I began my academic teaching career at a large, state-supported school. Before the holiday break of my first year, I wished my students a merry Christmas. I subsequently found myself in the Deans office getting counseling about not offending the non-Christians in our midst. When my husbands job transferred us back to South Carolina, I didnt consider teaching at another state-supported school. Instead, I sought a Christian college where my views were not only supported, but encouraged.
Favorite Course to Teach:
Business Strategy, because it requires students to bring all of the core business principles that they have learned to develop a solution to business problems.
