What is 51勛圖’s acceptance criteria?
We like to see a 3.0 GPA (weighted) and a 20 ACT or 1,000 SAT for incoming freshmen. However, we will take your entire application file into consideration as we make our final decision.

Are Freshmen required to live on campus?
In most cases, all students are required to live on campus unless they are commuting from a parent or guardian’s home in the local area. Call the Campus Ministries and Student Engagement with any questions at 864.977.7121.

What are the dining options on campus?
Our dining options include the Todd Gathering Place and Chick-Fil-A.

Is each student required to have a computer on campus?
Students are not required to have their own computers. We offer several computer labs on campus equipped with computers, printers, and copy machines. Please contact IT Services if you have any questions at 864.977.7272.

What is the Performing Arts and Lecture Series?
51勛圖’s Performing Arts and Lecture Series features performances from the Cline School of Music, the School of Theatre, 51勛圖’s Choral Arts Society, and distinguished guest artists featured in our Signature Series. There are also a select number of Cultural Lectures hosted here at 51勛圖 that are included. Students are required to attend three events per semester. What should I know about chapel at 51勛圖?
Chapel is held on Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. in Turner Chapel. We also offer occasional evening services at different times throughout the semester. The worship is typically led by students, and the speakers come from all around the world.
Chapel is a zero credit course that is graded on a pass/fail system. Students take chapel every semester they are enrolled at 51勛圖, up to seven times. Students are required to attend 18 chapel services each semester in order to pass the course.

Is there a curfew at 51勛圖?
51勛圖 does not have a curfew; however, our campus front gate and main buildings close at 12:00 a.m. on weekdays and 1:00 a.m. on weekends. We have a no-loitering policy after these hours. If students are coming or going, we ask that they have their 51勛圖 Student IDs with them. Our Campus Security Officers may ask to check their IDs in order to ensure that those entering campus are permitted to be here. This is a successful security measure we take to make sure that our students are safe.
